Experience: 3+ Years UK Practice
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of three years' UK experience to join a long-established and well-regarded small animal practice based across three sites in the West London area.
This role offers a balance of team-based work at the main hospital and sole charge responsibilities at branch surgeries—ideal for a vet seeking clinical variety and autonomy within a supportive framework.
About the Practice
This independent, community-focused clinic has been serving local pet owners since 1946 and enjoys the loyalty of long-standing clients and staff.
The team is proud to offer a friendly, professional environment with an emphasis on excellent patient care, case continuity, and clinical development.
The practice is fully equipped with modern diagnostic tools including ECG, digital x-ray, ultrasound, Idexx in-house lab, doppler blood pressure monitor, and Tonometer.
With seven vets (including part-time colleagues), there is always support available for complex cases and collaborative learning.
Location & Accessibility
The main hospital is located in Ruislip (HA4) with branch clinics in Greenford and Harefield.
All sites are well connected and Ruislip is just a few minutes’ walk from the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines, making travel into Central London easy and convenient.
What They’re Looking For
This role would suit a vet who:
- Has 3+ years UK clinical experience
- Is confident in routine surgery and consultations
- Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team
- Has strong communication skills and a sense of humour
- Is interested in further development – certificate support available
- Holds a valid driving license for site travel
