An established independent small animal practice with a long-standing history is expanding to create a full 24-hour service and is now seeking an Out-of-Hours / Emergency Veterinary Surgeon.

- Practice type: Independent small animal practice
- Services: Emergency care, hospitalisation, routine and advanced procedures
- Equipment: Digital X-ray, video endoscopy, laparoscopy, multiparameter monitoring, high-quality ultrasound
- Support: RVN on-site at all times, structured morning handovers, collaborative clinical discussions

Total Rewards:
- Salary: £60,000–£75,000 DOE

Who You Are
- A capable Veterinary Surgeon confident in emergency and critical care
- Calm, composed and decisive under pressure
- Able to manage a diverse OOH caseload, including hospitalised patients
- Comfortable working independently with RVN support on site
- Open to contributing ideas as the new service evolves
- Suitable for experienced OOH vets or day vets looking to transition into ECC
Qualifications:
- MRCVS registered or eligible
- Experience in emergency veterinary work preferred, but not essential
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and commitment to patient welfare
