We're currently recruiting on behalf of a busy 100% Small Animal practice in Newport, Gwent, that is looking for an experienced Locum Veterinary Surgeon to provide cover throughout September and October.
The Role:
- Up to 5 days per week
- Monday to Friday
- 8:25am – 6:55pm
- Consulting-only applicants are welcome, although a mix of consulting and surgery would be ideal.
The Practice:
- Busy, well-established small animal practice
- 2–3 Vet team
- 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses
- 2 Veterinary Care Assistants
- 3 Receptionists
- Friendly and supportive working environment
Requirements:
- Ideally 2–3+ years' experience
- Confident with consultations (surgical experience beneficial but not essential)
- New graduates are unlikely to be suitable for this particular role
