An exciting opportunity is available at a busy, modern veterinary hospital just 35 minutes north of Perth CBD.
The Role
- Above award pay from $40+ per hour, highly negotiable
- 4 weekdays + 1 in 3–4 Saturdays
- No Sundays or after-hours
- Varied caseload including wildlife, snake bites, emergency care & surgery
- Anaesthesia, surgical support, triage & dental radiography
- IV catheter placement and blood sampling
- Some shared reception duties
- Penalty rates for overtime or Time Off In Lieu
The Hospital
- Ultrasound, digital & dental X-ray
- In-house IDEXX laboratory
- Multiple IV pumps and advanced monitoring equipment
- Darvall air warmers
- Smartflow electronic whiteboard
- Supportive and collaborative veterinary team
About You
- Minimum 2 years’ veterinary nursing experience
- Confident with anaesthesia, triage and patient care
- Positive, hardworking team player
- Comfortable in a busy and varied hospital environment
- Passionate about developing clinically and providing excellent patient care
Overseas Nurses Welcome
Sponsorship is available for overseas Veterinary Nurses who meet the requirements for registration with the WA Veterinary Nurses Council/Board.
