Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

Our clients within Cambridgeshire are currently in search of a skilled and experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent basis. The team is open to considering Vets interested in consulting only, but they are equally enthusiastic about candidates with a well-rounded GP background. The key responsibilities for this role involve:

- Conducting thorough examinations and observations of animals to diagnose health issues and assess their overall well-being.
- Performing various laboratory tests on samples and specimens.
- Dressing and treating wounds, conducting surgeries, and prescribing medications.
- Administering vaccinations and testing for diseases.
- Utilizing ultrasound and diagnostic imaging tests as needed.
- Providing valuable advice to animal owners on preventive healthcare, general care, and nutrition.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for all animals.
