In a rare and exciting opportunity, Our Clients extend an invitation to an experienced Vet with outstanding General Practice (GP) Vet skills to join their dynamic multi-site group. The clinic, centralised around an accredited hospital, provides a unique chance for the selected candidate to work independently at a standalone clinic with state-of-the-art surgical facilities while enjoying collaborative support from a larger team.
The Veterinary Surgeon will shape the daily life of the branches, opting to work independently at a standalone clinic or allocate time between the branch and the main hospital. Responsibilities encompass consultations, surgeries, vaccinations, emergency response, and the development of comprehensive treatment plans. Effective collaboration with skilled Veterinarians, Registered Veterinary Nurses, Students, Veterinary Care Assistants, and front-of-house team members is crucial for success.
Rota Patterns and Work-Life Balance:
Our Clients prioritize work-life balance, providing a flexible approach to rota patterns. The position requires 41 hours per week over 4 days, with working hours from 8/8:30 am to 7 pm Monday to Friday. A Saturday morning rota includes standard consults on a 1:5 basis, with an overlap service for emergencies on Saturdays (2 pm-5 pm) and Sundays (8 am-5 pm) on a 1:9 rota. As a host practice for Vets Now, no on-call or night work is required.
