About the Clinic:
Situated in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, the independent companion animal clinic is currently comprised of two partners, two full-time vets, and a medium-term locum vet. Specialising in small animals with a notable exotics caseload, the clinic upholds a commitment to providing exceptional care to clients and their pets.

Role Overview:
The clinic is actively seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a minimum of two years' expertise in veterinary nursing. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and friendly team, contributing to the high standard of care and service offered by the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
The RVN will collaborate with the veterinary team, undertaking nursing duties such as anesthesia monitoring, medication administration, and surgical assistance. Additionally, responsibilities include supporting and mentoring student veterinary nurses and ensuring effective client communication with the reception team.

Requirements:
Applicants should possess a minimum of two years' experience as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, hold the relevant RVN qualification, and maintain current registration with the RCVS. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to work both independently and within a team, are essential.

Working Hours and Benefits:
The role entails 38 hours over 5 days, with a shift pattern between 08:30 - 18:00, and one in four Saturdays from 8:30 - 14:00. The salary is £30,000 plus, dependent on experience. Additional benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a company pension scheme, and funded CPD opportunities.
