Veterinary Surgeon - Permanent

Our clients in based on the Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire border in High Wycombe is actively recruiting a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to enrich their dynamic team. The need arises from the relocation of a longstanding vet to Scotland, opening an exciting opportunity for a new team member who aligns with the practice's dedication to compassionate and forward-thinking veterinary care.

Rota and Work-Life Balance:
Being a VetsNow host practice, a unique advantage is offered with a 3 in 7 Saturday morning rota, closing at midday, and no Sundays. The practice is committed to fostering a healthy work-life balance and is open to flexible working patterns, considering both full-time (40 hours per week) and part-time positions.

About the Practice:
The practice is distinguished by its nurturing environment, emphasizing colleague support and continuous development. With a team of 10 vets, ranging from new graduates to advanced practitioners, and a dedicated nursing team, the practice actively encourages professional growth and the pursuit of individual passions.

Facilities and Benefits:
State-of-the-art facilities, including portable ultrasonography, digital radiography (including dental radiography), endoscopy, and rigid scopes, are at the disposal of the successful candidate. In addition to a competitive base salary (up to £68,000 depending on experience), benefits include a generous relocation allowance (up to £3,000), private medical insurance, annual leave, birthday leave, and a £1500 CPD allowance with 5 days paid pro rata.
