Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Sought after market town on the outskirts of Buckingham
Salary up to £75,000 negotiable depending on experience
Up to £5,000 welcome bonus and up to £5,000 relocation allowance!

Our client, a well regarded small animal veterinary practice in Buckingham, is looking for a small animal veterinary surgeon to join their experienced team ideally on a full time basis. Part time or flexible working rota's can also be considered.
Their branches cover all aspects of first opinion caseloads as well as major surgery cases, typical caseloads can include but are not limited to neutering, spays, dentals, minor surgeries as well as major surgeries. They also perform cardiac scans, endoscopy (rhinoscopy & otoscopy all the way through to colonoscopy), laparoscopy cases, keyhole surgery, fracture repair and stifle TTA’s to name a few.
Should you have a niche area of expertise you wish to focus on, full support can be given to your preferred area.

The practice!
Our clients are a small animal practice with an excellent reputation for providing high quality care whilst still enjoying what they do! They provide a friendly, supportive environment for our staff with a varied caseload alongside the capacity to advance and enhance your skills enabling you to get the most out of being in general practice.
The main surgery is equipped with full diagnostic, laboratory, surgical and hospitalisation facilities. They perform their own cardiac scans, endoscopy (rhinoscopy & otoscopy all the way through to colonoscopy), laparoscopy (90%+ of spays are “keyhole”), fracture repair and stifle TTA’s; and improve the quality of their surgical procedures and outcomes with bipolar diathermy, harmonic scalpels and “Enseal” equipment. Dental x-rays are available at both sites with air-driven equipment, sharp instruments and “Vet-tome” to make “dentals” a pleasure rather than a chore.
