We have an exciting opportunity for an Equine Veterinarian (100%) to join an enthusiastic team in the beautiful Manawatu, New Zealand.
You will be a dynamic equine clinician with a passion for the equine industry and experience with sport and recreation horses primarily. With excellent time management and interpersonal skills, you’ll be able to quickly build good relationships with clients and provide an exceptional and professional service. You will be required to participate in the after-hours roster (also 100% equine and shared with a neighbouring clinic) and attend race duty if required.

Their diagnostic tools include endoscopy, recently upgraded ultrasound and digital x-ray. They have also recently upgraded their equine dental equipment, including HDE Polyfloat, dental oroscope and HDE intra- oral extraction kit.

The team share a special interest and extensive knowledge in a range of equine fields such as emergency care, reproduction, dentistry, and lameness. The clinic is primarily made up of both equine and production animal veterinarians supported by a skilled business support team. Their equine work is predominantly ambulatory, but they can receive clients into the clinic where they have an equine crush and yarding/paddock facilities.
