They are currently seeking skilled and passionate Registered Veterinary Technicians to join their Small Animal Division in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) & Emergency Departments. As an essential member of our team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality patient care with the support of advanced diagnostics and technologies, and receive collaborative support from your fellow RVTs, Board-Certified Surgeons and Critical Care Specialists led teams, Neurologists, and other veterinary professionals in a stimulating environment where you can enhance your skills across multiple modalities.

Our Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will be an excellent team player, have a passion for animal care and have the desire to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

You will ideally have a minimum of 4 years as a Registered Veterinary Technician and a minimum of one year in Referral or Emergency Services. We will invest in training for special candidates with less experience.


Responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional nursing care and support to patients in the ICU, ER and referral services, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing treatments.
  • Working cooperatively with the veterinary team to provide advanced care, including mechanical ventilation, advanced wound care, and hemodynamic monitoring.
  • Triaging emergency patients
  • Obtaining and processing samples using in-house diagnostic lab equipment.
  • Preparing and maintaining detailed medical records, including patient histories, treatment plans, and diagnostic results, using EzyVet and VetRadar.
  • Communicating with pet owners to provide updates on their pet’s condition.
  • Participating in continuing education and professional development to stay up to date on the latest innovations and developments in emergency and critical care.
  • Creating anesthetic protocols, and performing anesthesia



  • Veterinary technician: 3 years (required)



  • Registered Veterinary Technician (OAVT) (required)

As their ER & ICU offer 24-hour care, these positions require coverage for a variety of shifts including daytime, overnights, swing shifts, weekends, and holidays.

We will provide training on leading diagnostics and equipment including our 3.0 T MRI, 128-slice GE CT, digital x-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, ventilators, in-house IDEXX lab equipment, and more.
